Parents lodged complaint at Raibag police station
As the worry turned into trouble, the parents approached the Raibag police station and lodged a formal complaint. She said that she did not know that her daughter was in contact with Suresh and suspected that he had influenced her without her knowledge.
He expressed his anguish, saying that he was confident that his daughter was concentrating on her studies, and he was deeply saddened to find out that she had gone missing without informing anyone. The police immediately registered a case and started locating both the missing girl and the man.
Inspector Rajesh Patil confirmed that the search operation is ongoing. Police have interrogated the missing girl’s classmates and some of her friends to gather information that could lead to where the two have gone.
The officials have also tried to talk to Suresh’s family, but till now no clear statement has come from their side. Villagers say the family is still reeling from the shock of his sudden disappearance, while they are also worried about his wife who was expecting a child.

The girl’s parents are small farmers who had pinned their hopes on her education. He had taken a loan to pay for her college fees and believed that completing her studies would open up better opportunities for her. Now they fear that their plan has collapsed overnight.
