PM Modi Yatra Yatra: Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who is on a visit to Mauritius, understood various memorandum (MUS) on Wednesday. MUS, signed between India and Mauritius, is focused on sharing a currency settlement system, water, shipping information and other things.
The Central Currency Settlement System was signed to increase strategic partnerships between countries, for finance projects being implemented by the Central Water Authority under the Pipe Replacement Program between the Central Bank of Mauritius and the Reserve Bank of India, for the Credit Facility Agreement between the Government of Mauritius and the State Bank of India.

The two leaders also welcomed the ongoing discussions between Mauritius and the United Kingdom on the Chagos Islands. PM Modi reiterated India’s strong support for Mauritius on the Chagos issue.
