Television actress Dipika Kakar and her husband Shoaib Ibrahim had recently revealed that the former had been diagnosed with liver tumour. Now, the actress took to social media to share that the doctors have identified the tumour as stage 2 liver cancer. The Sasural Simar Ka star took to social media to share the heartbreaking news with her fans and well-wishers. In an emotional note on Tuesday, Dipika recounted her health scares and the latest update on the same. She also expressed her strength in fighting the illness.

“As you all are aware, the last few weeks have been quite difficult for us,” Dipika wrote. “Walking into the hospital for a pain in the upper area of my stomach… and then finding out it’s a tennis ball-sized tumour in the liver, and then finding out that the tumour is second-stage malignant (cancerous), it has been one of the most difficult times we have seen and experienced.”Despite the daunting diagnosis, Dipika’s spirit remains unshaken. “I am all positive, determined to face this and walk out stronger, InshAllah! With my entire family being by my side and all the love and prayers pouring in from all of you, I will sail through this too,” she added.

Shoaib Ibrahim on Dipika’s health condition
The actor, in his recent vlogs, revealed that after experiencing stomach pain, the actress took initial medication, but when the pain increased, she went for a few scans and found out that there is a tumour in her liver, which is the size of a tennis ball.
While talking about her, Shoaib said, “Our doctor asked us to visit again and when we met him, he asked us to do a CT scan and it showed that Dipika has a tumour in the left lobe of her liver. It is bigger in size, like a tennis ball. It was very shocking for us.”
After detecting the tumour, doctors recommended a few more tests to confirm if there is anything dangerous for her health. However, to their luck, no cancerous cells were discovered. Shoaib, in the vlog, also revealed that Dipika will have to undergo surgery, and with Ruhaan still breastfeeding, the actress is quite concerned about keeping him away from herself.
