Shefali Jariwala, best known for her appearance in the hit music video Kaanta Laga of 2022, has passed away at the age of 42. If recent reports are to be believed, the actress suffered a sudden cardiac arrest on Friday night, leading to her death. She was reportedly rushed to a hospital in Mumbai, where she was declared dead on arrival.

According to reports, Shefali Jariwala suffered a cardiac arrest while she was at her home on June 27. She passed away within minutes of the heart attack. The hospital staff reportedly confirmed the news of her death, saying, “Shefali had expired before she was brought in. Her husband and a few others accompanied the body.”

Just days before her untimely passing away, she had shared a post from a photoshoot and wrote, “Bling it on baby !” Shefali is survived by her husband, actor Parag Tyagi.
When Shefali shared her goals for 2025 and her secret to fitness
On the occasion of her birthday last year, Shefali had a candid chat with Mid-day, where she spoke about the year gone by, her goals for the upcoming year and her secret to fitness. Shefali had said, “I find myself deeply reflecting on the countless blessings that have shaped my journey these past years. I feel overwhelmed with gratitude. Getting to the maturity level where I have realised that reacting to everything is not required. Learning to sit back and observe is a milestone I have achieved this past year.”

When asked about her secret to staying fit, Shefali credited self-love, saying,”I have started to pace myself nowadays, not worrying too much about the urgency of reaching my goals. Rather enjoy the journey! Keeping active, sleeping well, and eating in moderation. That has been my mantra for good health.”
