Gomez called the marriage “a dream” and praised Blanco as “the most beautiful person I can do this with,” according to E! News.
Their partnership also inspired Gomez`s latest album, I Said I Love You First, a collaboration with Benny that earned the couple their first Grammy nomination together earlier this month for the song “Bluest Flame”.
“This whole project embodies his stories combined with my stories,” Selena told Rolling Stone in March. “They have meanings that are really just personal to both of us. So one song could actually mean two different things. And I think it was just really cute,” she concluded.

As per Variety, they became fast friends and went on to collaborate on several projects together. The pair collaborated again in 2023 on Selena Gomez’s song Single Soon. They began dating the same year, and by December 2024, they were engaged.
