Actor Sivakarthikeyan was involved in a minor road accident in Chennai on Sunday. Reportedly, the incident took place near Madhya Kailash when the car carrying the actor met with a small mishap.According to India Today reports, thankfully, Sivakarthikeyan escaped without any injuries. Soon after the accident, visuals from the spot surfaced online.

In the visuals shared on social media, Sivakarthikeyan can be seen standing outside the car wearing a black T-shirt. Sivakarthikeyan appeared calm and safe. In the video he is seen with no visible injuries. The car suffered minor damage. However, Sacnilk reports suggest that the makers have now preponed the release to January 10, 2026, which falls on a Saturday.This move has set up a major box office clash, as the film will now release just a day after Thalapathy Vijay’s Jana Nayagan, which is scheduled for January 9. The film is reportedly based on the anti-Hindi agitations that took place in Tamil Nadu in 1965.
Nora Fatehi injured in separate accident
In another incident, Bollywood actress Nora Fatehi sustained a minor injury in a car accident on Link Road in suburban Amboli on Friday afternoon. As reported by PTI, she was on her way to the Sunburn music festival when the accident happened.After a medical check-up, Nora Fatehi went ahead and attended the event as planned. Police later arrested the driver of the other car involved in the accident.
