Tennis great Venus Williams married partner Andrea Preti, an Italian actor, in an elaborate five-day ceremony at Palm Beach, Florida.
Williams, 45, broke the news via her Instagram account on Tuesday, with a caption that read: “Guess what I did this weekend?” She followed that up with a large catalogue of pictures from the couple’s wedding celebration. Interestingly, the couple had already held a non-official wedding ceremony in Italy three months ago.
The pair first met at the Milan Fashion Week in 2024. According to Vogue magazine, neither of them were initially scheduled to be at the event, but when they saw each other, it was love at first sight. They immediately began exchanging text messages thereafter, and once the 21-time Grand Slam-winner introduced Preti, 37, to her family over a breakfast date, Williams said, “I just knew I was going to marry him.”
