Ahaan Panday finally breaks silence on relationship with Aneet Padda

Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda made their big-screen debut with the Bollywood film Saiyaara, which was released in theatres in July this year. Directed by Mohit Suri, the film was a blockbuster and earned over Rs 500 crore worldwide. Aneet and Ahaan’s chemistry in the film led many to believe that the two were dating off-screen as well. Months after the film’s release, Ahaan has now opened up about his bond with Aneet.

Ahaan on the relationship with Aneet

In an interview with GQ, when asked about his bond with Aneet, Ahaan said, “Aneet is my best friend. The whole internet thinks we’re together, but we’re not. Chemistry isn’t always romantic; it’s about comfort, safety, and being seen. We’ve both made each other feel that. Even though she’s not my girlfriend, I’ll never have a bond like I have with Aneet.”

Ahaan went on to speak about a Paulo Coelho quote that connected them long before the film released. “Before Saiyaara, we both loved this Paulo Coelho quote: ‘It’s the possibility of a dream coming true that makes life interesting.’ We dreamed this together, and it came true. What we’ve shared is so special.” Despite their closeness, he maintained that he is very much single and that his love language is acts of service and grand gestures.

What’s next for Ahaan and Aneet Padda?

After creating box-office history with Saiyaara, Ahaan and Aneet are now gearing up for their next projects.

Ahaan is currently working on his upcoming film with Ali Abbas Zafar. On November 17, it was reported that Ahaan has to train for four to five hours a day for the film. A source said: “Ahaan will start his training in boxing first and then move on to mixed martial arts and hardcore strength training to bulk up for the screen. His training will be about 5 hours every day. It will be intense but necessary, as Ali wants to present him as a young boy who can take down people with sheer brute force.”

“No one can imagine Ahaan in this fierce avatar, and YRF will keep things completely under wraps so people feel the awe when they see him in his new film visuals,” the source added.

Additionally, Bobby Deol has also been roped in to play a grey character in the film.

Aneet, on the other hand, will soon become part of Maddock’s horror-comedy universe as Shakti Shalini.
