Bollywood actor Ajay Devgn is celebrating his 57th birthday today, April 2, and social media is filled with love for the star. While fans gathered outside his home to catch a glimpse of him, several of his industry friends and co-stars, including Akshay Kumar, Kareena Kapoor, Rohit Shetty and wife Kajol, also shared heartfelt and quirky birthday wishes online.

On Thursday, Akshay Kumar took to his Instagram Stories and posted a still from the Golmaal 5 announcement video, in which he could be seen kissing Ajay on the cheek. Alongside the picture, he wrote, “Dosti itni purani… pyaar toh hoga hi. Happy birthday dear Ajay Devgn.”
Kareena Kapoor also wished the actor with a sweet note. Sharing a picture with Ajay, she wrote, “Happy Birthday Singham, big love and big hug always.”
Meanwhile, filmmaker Rohit Shetty, who has shared a long and successful professional bond with Ajay, posted a special video on Instagram featuring behind-the-scenes moments from the sets of the films they have worked on together over the years, from the 1990s to now. The text in the video read, “Years went by, stories changed, but some bonds remain the same. Happy Birthday big brother.” He also added a heartfelt caption that read, “From the 90s hustle to today. Less words, more action. Happy Birthday big brother.”
Kajol also penned a quirky birthday wish for Ajay. Known for their witty and playful social media banter, Kajol shared a solo photo of Ajay and penned a humorous note. She wrote, “At some point the candles on the cake look less like a celebration and more like a fire hazard… 🧐 I think u have reached that point… happy birthday anyways… may u always have cake.”
Kajol and Ajay have often expressed their affection for each other in their quirky style. The couple first met on the sets of Hulchul in 1995, and what began as friendship soon blossomed into romance. After dating for nearly four years, they tied the knot in 1999 in an intimate wedding ceremony. Today, they are proud parents to two children, daughter Nysa Devgan and son Yug Devgan. Over the years, the duo has also shared screen space in several films, including Pyaar Toh Hona Hi Tha, Raju Chacha and Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior.

On the work front, Ajay is currently gearing up for the release of his upcoming film Dhamaal 4. Directed by Indra Kumar, the film also stars Riteish Deshmukh, Arshad Warsi, Sanjay Mishra and Jaaved Jaaferi, along with Esha Gupta, Sanjeeda Shaikh, Anjali Anand and Ravi Kishan in key roles. The comedy entertainer is scheduled to release in theatres on June 12. Apart from that, Ajay also has Drishyam 3, which is slated to release on October 2, as well as Golmaal 5, which is currently under production.
