Salman Khan`s upcoming film, Battle of Galwan, is already creating a lot of buzz among the audience. To add to it, Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan has now added to the excitement by appearing on the sets of the film. A picture of Big B from the sets emerged online and has set the internet buzzing about his role in the film.

Director Apoorva Lakhia took to Instagram stories to share a picture of himself with Amitabh on the sets on Wednesday. The photo captured a moment of deep conversation between the veteran actor and the filmmaker. He captioned the post, “Guess what is he telling me legendonsettoday,” while tagging Amitabh Bachchan, sending social media into a frenzy.

Users quickly began speculating about Amitabh’s potential role in the film. Theories began surfacing on whether he would appear as a narrator to might have an on-screen character alongside Salman. One post on Reddit read, “Is he going to play a character in the movie or be a narrator? If he has a character, it will be exciting to see him and Salman share the screen after so long.”

Another user noted, “The sets for Battle of Galwan and KBC are in Film City. Apoorva Lakhia may have met AB during the shoot. There are rumours that Govinda might also make a cameo. Since Salman is currently shooting only one film, he was likely referring to BOG.” Meanwhile, fans are also discussing the fascinating casting choices of the film, noting that Salman Khan, who is 60, will reportedly portray the role of Santosh Babu, an army officer who was 37 during the historic battle.

Interestingly, if Amitabh does have a role in the film, it will mark a special reunion with Salman Khan after 17 years. The two actors were last seen sharing screen in the 2008 film God Tussi Great Ho. Nevertheless, nothing has been confirmed by the makers yet.

Battle of Galwan is based on the 2020 Galwan Valley clash between India and China. The battle became a defining moment in recent Indian military history. The film will show the bravery of Indian soldiers, while focusing on the intense combat and strategic challenges faced during the battle.
