BJP vs Opposition on Bahraich encounter: After the encounter of two accused of Bahraich violence by Uttar Pradesh Police, a heated war of words has broken out between the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and the opposition.

On one hand, the BJP has insisted that the culprits will be caught “dead or alive”, while opposition leaders condemned the encounter and termed it as “fake”, blaming the Yogi Adityanath-led state for the violence in the district. The government was held responsible and the failure of administration.

The incident comes after Bahraich incident accused Sarfaraz and Mohammad Talib were shot in the leg by Uttar Pradesh Police while they were allegedly trying to flee to Nepal.

Violence broke out in Maharajganj in Mahsi tehsil of Bahraich district over alleged loud music being played outside a puja place during the Durga Puja immersion procession on Sunday.

BJP leader Mohsin Raza said that the police administration is working on a policy of zero tolerance towards crime in Uttar Pradesh and questioned the intentions of the opposition, asking whether they want to glorify criminals or save them.

“Our police administration is working on the policy of zero tolerance regarding crime in Uttar Pradesh and the law and order situation in Uttar Pradesh is very good. Police take law into their own hands and take action against those who commit crimes and will continue to do so. Do this and have been doing it before too. But one thing we do not understand is what our opposition partners want. Do you want to see the ‘Jungle Raj’ that you played? To glorify criminals or to save criminals?” Raza said.

“Police administration is for all of us, it is for the interests of the 25 crore people of the state, it is for their safety. The police also encounter criminals, catch criminals and send them to jail so that our businessmen, our mothers, sisters And the common people should remain safe, there is no atmosphere of fear among them, but again and again when such things happen, when our police administration takes any action, then the people of the opposition immediately stand up against it, hence this kind of politics. You may, but we are committed to providing security to the people; Yogi government has become an ideal government in the entire country.

Bahraich MLA Sureshwar Singh said that both the injured accused have been brought to the hospital and they are being treated.

“An arrest was made yesterday of Raja, who was sent to jail yesterday itself. Today the police came to know that 5 accused are trying to escape to Nepal… When the police tried to stop them, they opened fire and In retaliatory firing, two people Mohammad Talib and Mohammad Sarfaraz were shot, they were brought to the hospital, they are being treated and as soon as they recover, they will be sent to jail.

Reacting to the encounter, Union Minister Giriraj Singh said, ‘Such criminals should be killed, but they are alive, that is enough.’ BJP leader Ajay Alok said that there have been 212 encounters in UP and the court has not raised questions on even a single encounter.

Alok said, “It depends on the police under what circumstances the encounter took place. A ministerial inquiry is also conducted into the encounter. There have been 212 encounters in UP and the court has not raised questions on even a single encounter.” News agency ANI.

BJP MP Syed Zafar Islam said that protocol was completely followed and fire was used only to bring them down.

Islam said, “Protocol was completely followed and fire was used only to bring him down. Then this is a big achievement for the UP Police and should be appreciated.”
Union Minister Ravneet Singh Bittu said that criminals should be dealt with as strictly as Yogi Adityanath.

Bittu said, “No policeman shoots to kill… Police should have stopped them… They (criminals) should be dealt with as strictly as Yogi Adityanath is doing, only then the rule of law will be established.” ”

Uttar Pradesh Minister OP Rajbhar said that the criminals will have to be caught dead or alive.

“When the police go to arrest someone and bullets are fired at them, will the police garland them or shower flowers on them?… Dead or alive, they (criminals) have to be caught. If they have committed a crime , then Rajbhar said, one has to live underground, one has to stay in jail or one has to go to heaven… There should be order in the country and the state.

On the other hand, Congress clashed with the saffron party over the encounter and criticized the Uttar Pradesh government and held the failures of both the state government and administration responsible for the Bahraich violence.

UP Congress President Ajay Rai commented, “The government has been faking encounters for some time now. They are only trying to hide their failures.”

Congress leader Supriya Shrinet said law and order has collapsed in Uttar Pradesh, adding that the list of fake encounters is increasing in the state.

“Law and order has collapsed in Uttar Pradesh… There is a list of fake encounters in the state,” he said. The state where ADG law and order has to roam around with weapons even 48 hours after the riots shows that the law and order has completely failed, said Supriya Shrinet. We are appealing to restore peace in UP.

Samajwadi Party president Akhilesh Yadav also targeted the Yogi Adityanath government in the state, accusing it of resorting to encounters to hide its failures.

“This incident was an administrative failure. The government is resorting to encounters to hide its shortcomings. If the encounters had improved law and order, Uttar Pradesh would have been a leader among other states. If the procession had been allowed, Why was it not conducted peacefully” If they cannot handle such a small incident then how can we trust them to maintain law and order in the state? What happened was unfortunate and such incidents should not happen and get justice. The government is using the strategy of divide and rule. This incident was not spontaneous, it was planned.”

All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) President Asaduddin Owaisi strongly targeted the UP government regarding the Bahraich encounter and raised questions on the police action.

Citing UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s “thok denge” policy, Owaisi asserted that if the police had enough evidence, they should have sought legal punishment for the accused instead of resorting to extrajudicial measures.

“It is not difficult to know the truth about the “encounter” done by the police of the accused of Bahraich violence. Everyone knows about Yogi’s “thok denge” policy. If the police had so much evidence, then efforts would have been made to get the accused. Punished legally,” the AIMIM chief posted on Twitter.

Of the five people arrested in connection with the Bahraich violence, two were injured during the encounter, while the remaining three were taken into custody, according to Uttar Pradesh Director General of Police (DGP) Prashant Kumar, who also said that the situation is now Is under control. Control.

Ram Gopal Mishra was killed and several others were injured in a clash between two communities during a Durga idol immersion procession in Mahsi area of Bahraich district of Uttar Pradesh on Sunday.
