BD Somani, Canossa girls in U-12 final of MSSA inter-school football tournament

BD Somani High School (Colaba) and Canossa High School (Mahim) stormed into the girls U-12 final of the Dream Sports MSSA inter-school football tournament after winning their respective semi-final clashes at the MSSA ground in Azad Maidan on Thursday.

In the first semi-final, BD Somani and SVKM (Vile Parle) played out a goalless draw at the end of regulation time after which the tie-breaker was employed. 
In the shootout, Devashri Goel and Anoushka  Shah successfully converted their spot kicks to send the Colaba side into the summit clash which will be played at 3:30pm on Friday.

In the second semi-final, Manyata Sunil’s solitary goal  proved to be the difference as the Canossa girls got the better of JB Petit High School (Fort) 1-0.
