Recently, Bigg Boss 19 star Malti Chahar experienced a similar situation. She discussed her rigid upbringing and some compatibility problems she encountered as a child in a recent interview. Her comments, however, were purportedly misconstrued and reported under the headline “Malti Chahar says parents used to hit her after arguments (sic).”

Outrage over the false representation led to a violent reaction from Malti. She used social media to vent her rage and criticize the media for misrepresenting her statements. “Word Twisting isn`t what journalism is all about, or is it?” Malti asked the specific media source. What happened to you? (sic)” Brother Deepak Chahar stood by his sister`s side, asking, “Exactly why ?”
Malti Chahar further went on to add in another post, “I don’t understand why my parents are being dragged into every podcast and interview. And when I answer honestly and respectfully, my words get molded into attention seeking headlines. Why? Please stick to me only (sic).”
Fans come out in support
`Stop Defaming Malti` became popular on social media shortly after Malti`s comment. One person said, “We are always with you.” “Parents don`t sign up for public scrutiny,” someone another suggested. Let them live in peace, please. This level of decency ought to be fundamental (sic).
“There was a lot of tension between my parents,” Malti stated in an interview with Siddharth Kannan. As the older sibling, I had to watch them fight all the time.
She went on to discuss how her brother`s work kept him away from the family from an early age. She then talked candidly about the limitations she had to deal with as a child. Malti stated, “I was forced to keep short hair until the 11th grade and was given no freedom. It affected me deeply (sic).”
Malti Chahar had an interesting stint with Bigg Boss 19. The actress garnered immense praise for her stay as wildcard contestant in the house. She even reached till top 6 on the reality show.
