Former India wicketkeeper-batter Parthiv Patel reversed special praise for pace spearhead Jasprit Bumrah’s performances at the ongoing T20 World Cup, ahead of India’s semi-final clash against England at the Wankhede Stadium.
“Bumrah is not a banker. He is the bank. India has looked up to him most of the time, and he has never disappointed. That [taking wickets] is what he does most often. You are playing in a format right now, where the only way you can stop a batter is by getting him out, and Bumrah does that,” said Patel.
