Each season of Bigg Boss features love tales, but only a few have lasted the test of time. Actors Tejasswi Prakash and Karan Kundra fell in love on Bigg Boss 15 in 2021, and the relationship is still going strong. According to Tejasswi`s recent announcement, the couple may marry in 2026. Tejasswi also revealed that Karan wanted to marry in 2022, shortly after they finished Bigg Boss, but her mother asked that they date in real life and spend some time together before getting married.
Karan Kundrra wanted to marry Tejasswi Prakash in 2022
On Bharti TV`s YouTube channel, Bharti questioned Tejasswi about how she fell in love with Karan on Bigg Boss 15, and the actor revealed that she initially thought Karan only had a crush on her. “He would tell several individuals that he likes me. I am the type of person who believes that if you like me, you should tell me clearly,” she said, adding, “Initially, I didn`t realise he was serious about me. I suspected he had a crush or something. So I said, “If he says it in front of everyone, I`ll think about it. And then, on Weekend ka Vaar, he confessed to everyone that he likes me, or something like that.”
Tejasswi Prakash remembered that soon after, Karan Kundrra acknowledged that he was serious about his emotions for her, and she began to see his activities that supported this. “I liked how he was extremely clear in his mind that he liked me, and he said it without knowing how I felt about him. That`s a significant risk because you don`t know how the other person will react. “When you say I like you but don`t know if the other person feels the same way,” she remarked, adding, “I liked how he showed courage and expressed himself, and he made it exclusive.”
Tejasswi talks about her mother`s advice
Tejasswi`s mother also approved of Karan, which surprised the actor. And as soon as they finished Bigg Boss 15, Karan wanted to be married, but Tejasswi`s mother advised them to think about it. “Karan urged, `Let`s get married,` but my mother remarked, `You two just got out of Bigg Boss. Maybe you should spend a year together in the real world because, while I don`t disbelieve you (Karan), I don`t even know my daughter because I believe both of you need some time,” she recalled. Tejasswi defined herself as `chanchal`, saying, “When I fall in love, I think, `This is the one.`” So my mother said, `Take a year to know each other.`”
When Bharti Singh asked if they planned to marry in 2026, Tejasswi Prakash responded, “Aise bol toh rahe hain (That`s what is being said).” She said, “Matlab aisi baatein toh hum kar rahe hain, par let`s see. (We are discussing it, but let`s see.)” Rumours regarding Tejasswi and Karan`s wedding have circulated for years, but the couple has yet to make a definitive remark on the subject.
