Actor Hansika Motwani and her businessman husband Sohael Khaturiya have officially parted ways. The couple was granted a divorce by the Bandra Family Court in Mumbai after filing for separation by mutual consent, with the actress choosing to forgo alimony. While they have not issued an official statement, the claims have been doing the rounds since July 2025. Amid this, their wedding documentary, Hansika`s Love Shaadi Drama, continues to stream on JioHotstar.

Actor Hansika Motwani and her businessman husband Sohael Khaturiya have been granted a divorce by the Bandra Family Court in Mumbai. Motwani had approached the court seeking separation by mutual consent and reportedly chose not to claim streedhan or alimony as part of the settlement.
During the proceedings, Motwani was represented by advocate Adnan Shaikh, who stated that the couple lived together for only a brief period after their marriage. Over time, they realised that differences in their temperaments, opinions, and lifestyles were causing frequent disagreements.
According to the plea filed before the court, the two often argued over even minor matters, which eventually made it difficult for them to continue living together. The couple ultimately decided to separate amicably.
Amid these claims, both Hansika and Sohail have not yet issued any public statements.
Reports about their separation have been circulating since July 2025. A report in HT City stated, “Hansika has moved in with her mother, while Sohael is staying with his parents.” She even shared a cryptic note on her birthday mentioning how the year has been full of lessons and emotionally tough for her.

Hansika and Sohael, however, clarified that they had known each other for a very long time, as Sohael was her brother`s friend.
