NEW DELHI: The Indian women’s cricket team saw a rise in their ODI rankings after their recent series win against New Zealand. Captain Harmanpreet Kaur moved up to ninth place in the batting rankings, thanks to her crucial knock of 59 runs in the final match. Kaur’s performance helped India secure a 2-1 series victory.
Opener Smriti Mandhana, who scored a century in the third ODI, climbed to fourth place with 728 points. Deepti Sharma, who played a key role with her bowling, consolidated her second position in the bowler rankings with 703 points.
