Harry Styles opens up about his family plans

Harry Styles opens up about family planning as Zoë Kravitz romance heats up: ‘I want to be fulfilled’

Harry Styles is heading in a new direction, it seems. The star who shot to fame with ‘One Direction’ is getting real about what he wants next in life: family, love, and the things that actually matter. Lately, his relationship with Zoë Kravitz has been heating up, and although he’s coming up with new music very soon, Harry’s looking past all the noise, thinking about what comes after the tours and the spotlight. He’s always kept his private life under wraps, but of late, Harry’s opening up in a way that feels ‘different’. He’s not just talking about career goals or the next hit single. Instead, he’s talking about what makes life feel full.

Harry Styles on family planning

So, what’s on Harry’s mind? During an interview with Zane Lowe, Harry said he’s been asking himself some big questions, like, what does he really want over the next five years? Watching friends settle down and start families made him stop and wonder about his own future. At 32, he says he’s been stepping back and looking at his life from a distance, trying to figure out what really matters to him.Harry talked about how easy it is to get swept up in everything: music, touring, attention, and how that can crowd out the things you actually want. “If I stop everything, then I get to decide what I want to bring back in,” he told Zane Lowe. That’s part of why he pulled back from the spotlight in 2023.Harry explained, “If you’re touring all the time, there’s no space to really choose.” So he had a straight-up conversation with himself: In five years, what do I want my life to look like? What do I need to change to get there? His answer? “I want to be fulfilled and I want to be in great relationships with people,” he said. “I want to have great friendships with people. I want a family. I want these things. It just allowed me to go like, ‘Okay, what do I have to do to create space to allow these things to happen? I can’t just expect them to just happen to me.’”Harry also gets that who you choose to share your life with really matters. Possibly talking about Zoë Kravitz, his rumored girlfriend, he said, “The right person holds you accountable to the version of yourself you want to be. If you challenge me, that’s a gift. It means you care enough to help me grow.” He’s seen his friends find their person, take risks, and trust in something real, and that inspired him, too. That feeling, he says, is what he tries to capture in his new song “American Girls.“There’s this magic when you find the right person,” Harry said simply. For him, it’s less about the big, flashy moments, and more about that quiet trust and connection.

Harry Styles and Zoë Kravitz

As for Harry and Zoë, the rumors of their potential romance started flying back in August 2025, after they were spotted together in London and Rome, looking pretty cozy. Since then, they’ve been seen out and about, holding hands, spending time together, just enjoying each other’s company. Neither of them has gone public about their relationship, but per People, people close to them say it’s serious. They make time for each other, even with packed schedules, and have started joining each other’s friends and family for holidays.According to People, Zoë’s dad, Lenny Kravitz, has reportedly met Harry and thinks they make each other happy. Friends say their relationship just feels easy: relaxed, full of mutual respect, and built on a real friendship.

New music, new chapter

On the work front, Harry is back with new music, and it’s not just a couple of hit singles; this time, it’s a full album. Earlier in January, he dropped ‘Aperture’, the first single from his fourth album, ‘Kiss All the Time. Disco, Occasionally’, which comes out March 6. The single shot straight to number one in both the UK and the US, proof that fans are still here for everything Harry does.Right before the album release, Harry hit the stage at the 2026 BRIT Awards in Manchester. It was his first live TV performance in almost three years, and he went all in with bold choreography, little nods to the music video, and that trademark confidence.
