Hand in hand, and all smiles

Bollywood couple Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh were seen arriving at the Mumbai airport on Sunday (Jan 11) after their New York holiday, keeping things low-key as they walked hand in hand. The moment drew attention when paparazzi addressed Ranveer as “Dhurandhar,” following the mega success of his latest film, Dhurandhar a remark that appeared to amuse Deepika, who smiled in response. Ranveer acknowledged the comment with a brief reaction before the couple moved on. Dressed in black leather jackets and denims, the couple twinned their airport look, and their cheerful interaction with paps has gone viral on social media.

No fear of box-office clash

Emraan Hashmi and Mukesh Bhatt

Producer Mukesh Bhatt has dismissed claims that the delay of Awarapan 2 is linked to competition from Dhurandhar 2 or Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups. “I’m not scared,” Bhatt told PTI, stressing that the film’s postponement is due to unfinished shooting after Emraan Hashmi suffered an on-set injury requiring surgery, not box-office fear. He explained that the release, now expected in May–June, was shifted because Emraan cannot perform action for 45 days, delaying key sequences. The film was scheduled to release on April 3, now it ill arrive in cinemas in June.
