IND vs AUS: 'Virat Kohli should learn from MS Dhoni and retire' - Indian run machine flops again

NEW DELHI: India’s star batter Virat Kohli faced heavy criticism from fans after an underwhelming dismissal on Day 3 of the third Test at the Gabba in Brisbane.
Kohli, coming in at number four after early losses of Yashasvi Jaiswal (4) and Shubman Gill (1), failed to stabilise the innings. He edged a full delivery from Josh Hazlewood to wicketkeeper Alex Carey, despite having the option to leave the ball.
Kohli walked back to the pavilion visibly disappointed, adding another low score to his series tally.

The series hasn’t been a smooth ride for Kohli.
After scoring just 5 runs in the opening Test in Perth, he roared back with a magnificent century in the second innings, helping India secure a dominant 295-run victory.

However, he struggled again in the second Test in Adelaide, scoring only 7 and 11 as India fell to a 10-wicket defeat.
At the Gabba, Kohli was expected to anchor the innings after the early setbacks, but the 36-year-old faltered, chasing a delivery outside off-stump that was comfortably pouched by Carey.

2nd Test in Adelaide: 7 and 11
