After suffering a loss in the series opener, Team India will look for a win as they are set to clash against England at the Edgbaston Cricket Ground in Birmingham.
England skipper Ben Stokes has won the toss and elected to bowl first in the second of the five-match Test series.
Team India has decided to provide rest to its lead pacer Jasprit Bumrah, considering his workload management. In his place, India`s think tank has provided an opportunity to Akash Deep. Also, Sai Sudharsan and Shardul Thakur will make way for Nitish Kumar Reddy and Washington Sundar, respectively.
During the match, the Indian cricket team will expect its premier all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja to bring his `A-game`. Since the last few months, the veteran has been struggling to deliver performances and will look to bounce back.
On the other hand, the visitors will also rely heavily on their in-form opening duo, Yashasvi Jaiswal and KL Rahul, to replicate their performances from the previous match.

They have faced seven defeats and a draw in the last eight matches. On the other hand, the `Three Lions` have won two of their last three matches at the venuw, including the famous win, where they chased 378 runs against Team India in 2022, which is also their highest successful run chase in the longest format of the game.
