Ahead of the second Test match against England, Team India bowlers were seen spending time in the nets with the bat.
The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) shared a video on its official social media handle, which read, “๐๐ฎ๐ฟ๐ฑ๐๐ผ๐ฟ๐ธ ๐ก๐ฒ๐๐ฒ๐ฟ ๐ฆ๐๐ผ๐ฝ๐!๐ Bowlers day out with the bat in #TeamIndia nets๐๐#ENGvIND”. Taking to X:

In the video, Arshdeep Singh, Kuldeep Yadav, Akash Deep, Mohammed Siraj, and Prasidh Krishna were seen sweating it out at the nets with the bat. In the first Test match against the `Three Lions`, Team India`s tailenders showcased poor skills with the willow.
The batsmen in total registered five centuries throughout both innings of the match at Headingley Carnegie.
Ahead of the Birmingham clash, the Indian tailenders are expected to come out with improved skills and make crucial contributions to the side`s success, if needed.
One of the major concerns for the Shubman Gill-led side will be the feature of its lead pacer Jasprit Bumrah. The pacer was advised not to play consecutive Test matches, considering his workload management.
If Team India`s think tank decides to provide rest to Bumrah, the management will have to make a tough call, whether to pick Kuldeep Yadav or Arshdeep Singh in Birmingham.
Arshdeep is yet to make his debut for India in the longest format of the game. But if Bumrah rests for the second game, there would be no better pace option other than the 26-year-old to feature in the match. In white-ball formats, the Guna-born pacer has emerged as a crucial bowler and is expected to replicate his performances in red-ball cricket as well.
On the other hand, the pitch in Birmingham is expected to provide help to the spinners, and if India includes Kuldeep in the mix, he is expected to make crucial contributions.
The second Test match between India and England is scheduled to be played at the Edgbaston Cricket Ground in Birmingham from July 2 onwards. The `Three Lions` are leading the series with 1-0 after securing victory in the opener at the Headingley Cricket Ground in Leeds.
