India A began their campaign in the Rising Stars Asia Cup 2025 with a clash against the UAE at the West End Park International Cricket Stadium in Doha on Friday, November 14.
Vaibhav Suryavanshi and Priyansh Arya were among the star attractions as the young guns padded up to open the batting for India. The likes of Naman Dhir, Jitesh Sharma, Nehal Wadhera and Ramandeep Singh also featured in an Indian XI dominated by rising talents from the Indian Premier League.
The UAE were led by Alishan Sharafu, and they fielded a talented first XI for the tournament opener.
With a good batting pitch on offer in Doha, India had no hesitation in opting to bat first after winning the toss.
After losing Priyansh Arya to a run-out early, India jetted off to a good start, thanks to an attacking start from 14-year-old Vaibhav.
