Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday instigated the opposition for his questions on ‘Operation Sindoor’ – The retaliation against Pakistan by the Indian Armed Forces claimed 26 lives after the Pahgam terror attack.
Modi said that this was the attitude of the Congress that led the “weak rule” under the previous regime, resulting in the citizens’ lives in civil attacks.
Modi said during a debate on ‘Operation Sindoor’ in the ongoing monsoon session of Parliament, “Even though our hearts have not been aligned with the party’s interests, they should align with the country.”
He spoke after the Leader of the Opposition in Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi. He congratulated the delegation diplomacy for spreading messages to the terrorist network that crossed Pakistan’s link by all party teams.
He said, “There is now a ‘spirit of sindoor’ in the country, which we saw that when our representatives went to tell the world about India. I congratulate each of them,” he said.
The Prime Minister made an excavation in the opposition, accusing them of finding new “excuses” to oppose the operation of the army and said that the whole country is “laughing” at them. He particularly targeted the Congress and accused of opposing the armed forces.
“Terrorists are crying, their masterminds are crying and watching him crying, some people are crying here too. They tried to play a game during a surgical strike; didn’t work. During an airstrikes, he tried to play another game. It did not work either. When Operation Sindoor adopted a new strategy – ‘You laughed at you,” he said.
