Samantha Ruth Prabhu surprised everyone by announcing that she has tied the knot with filmmaker Raj Nidimoru in a Linga Bhairavi Vivaha at the Isha Foundation in Coimbatore on December 1, 2025. The actress took to her Instagram account on Monday to share the pictures from the wedding, making it official. Now, her friend, Shilpa Reddy, has shared pictures and videos from the intimate ceremony giving more details into their inticmate and meaningful ceremony.

In one of the photos shared by Reddy, the newlyweds, Samantha and Raj ,are seen gazing into each other`s eyes. In another picture, she is seen planting a sweet kiss on the bride`s forehead. Other pictures give a glimpse of the food served at the ceremony, the stunning view from the venue and the beautifully decorated venue that radiated positivity and divinity.

Shilpa also shared photos on her Instagram stories, revealing details of the ceremonial arrangements such as turmeric-smeared coconuts, fresh betel leaves, kumkum, flowers, grains, flour, leaves, and other sacred offerings placed neatly around the havan kund. The deity was seen adorned with garlands.

In a video shared on her stories, Shilpa shared a glimpse of the wedding gift that was given to the attendees (called as the vivah kanukalu), which included incense made from flowers of Isha, a note from Sadhguru, chocolate bars made in India, a perfume from Samantha`s chosen brand Secret Alchemist.

Actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu tied the knot with filmmaker Raj Nidimoru in a traditional ceremony on Monday. While reports were doing the rounds that the couple will be entering matrimony soon, the `Yashoda` actress formally announced the new chapter in her life through a special social media post.

Samantha took to her official Instagram handle and dropped some beautiful moments from her simple, traditional yet elegant nuptials. While the bride was a sight for the sore eyes in a red silk saree with golden embellishments, the director opted for a white kurta pyjama with a cream Nehru jacket for the special day. Samantha`s bridal look was further enhanced with some heavy gold jewellery, along with a gajra, mehendi, and complementary makeup.

The post captioned, “(white heart emoji) 01.12.2025(white heart emoji)” showed the newlyweds exchanging wedding rings and praying before commencing their new journey.

As per reports, the two got married at Isha Foundation`s Linga Bhairavi Temple in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu. For the unaware, Samantha is believed to have first met Raj during the shoot of the Amazon Prime Video series, “The Family Man 2”, in which she played a powerful role. The two once again joined hands for the web show, “Citadel: Honey Bunny”, co-starring Varun Dhawan.

The rumours of Samantha and Raj being in a relationship began to circulate as the two were seen together at various events.
