Kartik Aaryan has expressed gratitude to his fans for the roaring success of his latest film, ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3‘, while also taking a cheeky jab at the box office competition with Rohit Shetty’s ‘Singham Again‘.
In an Instagram post on Tuesday, Aaryan shared a celebratory poster with the caption, “Everything is possible if the audience is standing by you and believes in your story. Thank YOU. 400 Crore paar.” The poster proudly declared that the film’s worldwide collections have crossed an estimated Rs 408.52 crore.
According to reports from sacnilk.com, the film has amassed a domestic total of Rs 249.10 crore. The movie had a phenomenal opening week, earning Rs 158.25 crore, followed by ₹58 crore in its second week. However, collections saw a decline in the third week, contributing Rs 23.35 crore. During the fourth weekend, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 added Rs 1.4 crore on Friday, Rs 2.7 crore on Saturday, and Rs 3.25 crore on Sunday. Additional earnings of Rs 1.05 crore and Rs 1.10 crore on Monday and Tuesday pushed the film’s domestic total to Rs 249.10 crore, just shy of the Rs 250 crore mark. Its gross collections stand at an estimated Rs 295.85 crore.
Kartik’s post included the line “A battle to remember,” which many interpreted as a playful dig at Singham Again. The star-studded action film, featuring Ajay Devgn, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh, Tiger Shroff, Akshay Kumar, and Arjun Kapoor, initially led the box office for two weeks but has since fallen behind.
‘Singham Again’ has a current domestic collection of an estimated Rs 241.50 crore, trailing behind Aaryan’s horror-comedy.
