Krishna Shroff is set to enter the competitive world of The 50 as one of the players on the upcoming reality show. The globally successful format, owned by Banijay, brings together a diverse mix of personalities in a high-pressure, strategy-driven environment and is all set to make its Indian debut on JioHotstar and Colors, starting 1st February.
Krishna Shroff confirms her participation
Having previously participated in reality formats, Krishna steps into The 50 with a mindset shaped by experience and self-awareness. Known for her outgoing nature and competitive spirit, she views the show as a space to test not just physical ability but adaptability, emotional awareness, and instinct in an unpredictable setting.
Sharing her thoughts ahead of joining the show, Krishna said, “I’ve been a part of reality shows before, but The 50 seems like it will be a completely new experience for me. Interacting with so many different personalities in one go is something I’m genuinely looking forward to as an extrovert. After doing two reality shows, I’ve realised that I’m my own biggest competitor. As long as I hold on to my self-belief and stay open to the adventure, I know I’ll shine in this unpredictable game.”
On her father Jackie Shroff`s advice
Earlier while talking to mid-day exclusively, the actress had shared her father Jackie Shroff`s advice on picking reality shows, “There is so much that I learn from him; he is one of my biggest inspirations for the show. He was so supportive and pushed me to take on this journey. I think he wants me to go and experience this entirely new world. And everything that comes with it, to learn more about the simplicity of life. There`s not much that he really said to me; it was more about me going and embracing this opportunity and the experience that this is going to be. There is so much that is going to come out of it, and I am going to learn from it. Whether that be the villagers, my co-contestants or the tasks that we have to do. There`s a lot of growth, learning and progress that is going to come out.”
With Krishna Shroff stepping into the game, audiences can expect a player who brings openness, confidence, and a willingness to embrace the unknown. As The 50 continues to reveal its players, anticipation continues to build around a format that thrives on real reactions and dynamic interactions. Show will be available on Tataplay binge as well.
