Listen: Packers coach Matt Laughter discussed development as a difficult division and a leader of Jordan Love

Maaddi: Welcome to football, I am Rob Maaddi. NFL has some interesting matches in the week 3. There is a playoff rematch between La Ram and Philadelphia Eagles. He is in Phili. It will be on Linc. A big Monday night game: Baltimor Revenne hosted Detroit Lions. This week, our guest-papers coach Matt Laughter, Green Bay started 2–0. And next week, Micah returns to Dallas to face Parsons Cowboy. But this week, they cannot see further because they have received a road trip against Cleveland Brown.

We will start it with Pro Pix. It is a difficult slate of sports. There are many quarterback injuries. There is a lot of uncertainty, many things that are in the air. The four packs were 2–2 straight and 2–2 against the previous week’s dissemination. Overall, we are 25 and 7 straight. We are 18 and 14 against the propagation. My best bets, I am looking at the “Sunday Night Football”, Canasus City heads among the New York veterans. Major six and a half points are favorite. I am not counting the heads at 0 and 2. They need to recover some prominent players. Patrick Mahms, he is leading the team in running. They need someone else to step there. The crime of veterans was impressive last week. Russell Wilson thrown away for 450 against Dallas Cowboy. Who said that he can no longer play football? The veterans also have a cruel front four that can give an aggressive line to the mahms and the heads. Posts separated their secondary last week. I think Mahomes may get a little back on the track. I am going away from 30–17 to Kansas City to win the game. Troubled specials are 2–0 so far, and this week I am looking at 0-2 Houston on the road against Jacksonville. They are 1-point underdog. Hey, it bothers one. Texas started 0-2 two years ago when coach Demose Rians and QB CJ Straws were together in their first season and won the division and won the division the next year. So this is a win for them. Jaguar is playing much better in Liam Koen. Texas only have to be more disciplined. On Monday night a lot of punishment against Bucccaneers. I have won this one, 23-20 to Houston. All is well, let’s go to Ram in Eagles. This is a playoff rematch. Phili is a one -and -a -half -and -a -half point. Saquon Barkley escaped in all Ramas last year; Two games, four touchdowns, three from the 70-plus yard and one who was not-62 yards at a distance of 460 yards. Rams had a shot to finish the eagles, although still in the playoffs, despite all, at a distance of 13 yards, they could win that game below 28–22. Eagles keep winning ugly, but I think this week is the time for Jalen Harts and AJ Brown to go back to the track with Ram, maybe focus a little bit on the Secvon Barclay. Phili, 27-23. We will finish four packs with “Mande Night Football”. Lion in revenue. A five-point favorite of Baltimore. And I think Audsmackers are disrespecting Lions. Lions won 15 games last year. Yes, he lost a week 1 against Green Bay. They bounced back, scored 52 points and wrapped over 500 yards away. And here is bucket. He started as a favorite of five and a half points and injuries dropped it to five. I thought it would be a little 3, 3.5. And this is one of those sports. You will hear me saying that throughout the season. The line is telling me something here and it is asking me to take Baltimore Revenne and Lamar Jackson 33-26.

MAADDI: Packers coach Matt Lofler has closed Green Bay for the start of 2–0. He has a record of 69 and 33 career in Green Bay. They did not get the success they want in the playoffs. All this is about winning the Lombardy Trophy in Green Bay, but Micah Parsons has made him a super bowled contender.

Maaddi: O Matte, thank you for your time. You have got success five times in Green Bay, three 13-winning season, playoffs, but obviously you know, you know what it is in Green Bay, the final goal is to hoist Lombardy. How far are you from that?

Lafleur: Um, Ok, this is a hell of a question. Um, no, I think our people, you know, we think we have really got a competitive team, but as you know a lot of things, there are many variables, there are many factors that meet to go to your way to reach that goal. So my mindset, like our team, you know, you have taken it a day in a day and focus on things that are within your control and, m, you know, just keep your best leg ahead and try to get a little better every day.

MAADDI: Most coaches are telling their teams that you have got to take care of your division, you have to try and get the best seed you can. You guys are clearly very difficult, difficult partitions. This is a hard NFC. How much do you try and insist? I know that you call it all the time, a day a day, a game at a time, from the week to a week, but it is really mentality, isn’t it matte?

Lafleur: Yes, I think because when you see totality, especially our programs, you have received AFC Answer that we have to play and NFC East. If you look at the totality of the schedule, it is like a holy cow, it is, it is a guttlet. But when you break it, you try to stay in the moment and actually take it a day a day, it looks very difficult, although we know it is a grinding. But basically, I mean, we are all, those other teams of our entire division also have to play. And we know that we have got a difficult competitive division. I mean, you have mentioned all, those three teams have definitely received, I feel better every year, I think you just know, Chicago and Ben Johnson. And then they have done a really good job with their roster. And then obviously everyone is following Detroit, what have they been able to do in the last few years. And I mean Minnesota was there with him at the end. So, yes, this is a competitive schedule, but it is the type you want because if you can get through it and get out of the other side, you will be warned and it will set you to set you. I think Postsen is expected to have better success in Postsen.

MAADDI: Everything always comes down for all credit or all defects, coaches and quarterbacks. And sometimes it is unfair. This is a team game. This is the last team game, what have you seen from Jordan? And I think last year his health was a little obstacle throughout the season, but what have you seen with him?

Lafleur: I think the biggest jump I have seen with him is just, I think he is definitely to see development from just a leadership point of view, which is necessary, I think, our success. If your quarterback is the person who is a leader, he has got it, he has certainly earned everyone’s honor in the locker room with his action and how he treats his comrades. And so, I think he has taken the jump as a leader, which we should also serve.

MAADDI: Different quarterbacks proceed through different methods, different coaches move in different ways. What makes you an effective, a great leader for you?

Lafleur: Okay, you became authentic. You came true for yourself. And then I think just your tasks have to be clearly returned what you are saying. And then you can be so consistent. I think there is communication. All this is mandatory to be a great leader.

Maaddi: You are all football all the time. Do you have a hobby, such as something that you like to do out, out of football?

Lafleur: Rob, I have found a little bit in golf. Now I stink, but it allows me to live by the motto, show me a coach that can do golf, I will show you a bad coach. But no, I like to hang out with friends, drink some alcohol, listen to music. I like to go to my lake house in Green Lake and go to the boat and relax. This usually where you will find my best version in summer, when we will get about four weeks to relax in the lake.

Maaddi: Back to some final ideas. We are two weeks in the season. There are 10 teams that are 0–2, and each of those teams face a hard road for the playoffs. Not very surprising between 10, except the heads of the Canasus City and Houston Texas. Two division winners. In Canasus City, divisions do not really matter. The division title is not what is about it. This is about winning that fourth super bowling ring. It is a super bow or bust and only three teams have started 0 and 2 and have gone to win the super bowl. Since 2020, when the playoffs were expanded, only 11.5% teams started with 0 and 2. So I am hearing many people saying that this is the end of the main dynasty. Some of the same people would have said the same thing when Patriots were destroyed by the Cansus City. I believe it was a Monday night’s game. It was 2014, Patriots fell to two and two. Remember, was it on Cincinnati game? Well, what did the patriots do? Bill Belichic, Tom Brady found everything back on the track. He won the Super Bowl that year and won. He went and won the fifth super bowl. He went and won a sixth super bowl. I am not saying that the chiefs are going to do so and win three more super bowls, but I am not ready to announce that this dynasty is over or this run run is over. This is a difficult division. There is a lot to detect Andy Reid and Patrick Mahors. They would be one-and-one if Travis Kails would have caught the ball last week or near the end area and did not drop it and turned it into a interception. He could defeat Super Bowl Champion Eagles in Remach. So I believe that the major is far from ending. I have got some confidence on Andy Reid and Patrick Mahms.

Maaddi: This is for this week. Thanks to coach Matt Laughter. Thanks for listening on football and thanking Haya Panjwani for the construction of this episode. Please see apnews.com for football analysis and full pro pics on too much NFL news.
