
American pop star and actress Ariana Grande was recently taken aback after an unknown man jumped onto the yellow carpet and charged her at the Wicked: For Good movie premiere in Singapore on Wednesday, November 13. The security instantly removed him. Ariana`s co-stars, including Jeff Goldblum, Michelle Yeoh, and director Jon M Chu, were seen caught off guard.

In the video now going viral on the internet, the man can be seen jumping over the event’s barricade and rushing towards Grande before putting his arms around her.

The other cast members, Cynthia Erivo, can be seen pushing the man away before hugging Grande with Yeoh on the other side. The stars quickly formed a human shield around Grande.
Pyjama Man later posted a video of the incident with Grande and wrote, ‘’Dear Ariana Grande Thank You for letting me Jump on the Yellow Carpet with You.”
About the serial invader
Interestingly, he turns out to be a serial invader who has similarly invaded other celebrities at public events as well. The man is a content creator, identified as Pyjama Man. He allegedly hails from Australia, and he creates content of himself rushing towards artists and celebrities like Katy Perry, The Weeknd, The Chainsmokers, Virat Kohli and more.
He has also invaded the Narendra Modi Stadium pitch in Ahmedabad in 2023 during the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup final between India and Australia, where he charged at Virat Kohli. He managed to bypass security to get to the centre of the cricket field and hug Virat. His Instagram shows that he had pulled off the stunt on Virat twice. Sharing the video from 2023, he wrote, “Virat Kohli, thanks for letting me stay on the Field at the 2023 World Cup Final,” wherein he is seen running on the field to hug Virat during the World Cup finals. He later pulled off a similar stunt in December 2024.
His Instagram account shows videos of himself interrupting Katy Perry and The Weeknd`s shows by running on stage and embracing the singer as the security team rushed to take him off stage.
