Over the past two weeks, Millie Bobby Brown and her Stranger Things costars have kicked off the press tour for the final season of the series.
Stranger Things was created by Matt and Ross Duffer. The show first premiered in 2016 and soon became a cultural phenomenon, best known for its blend of supernatural suspense. It offers 1980s nostalgia and coming-of-age storytelling.
Millie Bobby Brown claps back at photographer
On November 13, the 21-year-old actor attended the Stranger Things season 5 premiere in London. For the outing, Millie Bobby Brown chose to wear a design from Ashi Studio’s fall 2025 couture collection.
The 21-year-old actor was striking poses in a gorgeous black boudoir inspired dress when she abruptly stopped and snapped at photographers on Thursday when a photographer yelled out to her, “Smile!”
“Smile? You smile!” the star quickly retorted while pointing to the group of photographers. She shouted before turning away and walking off the carpet.
“Smile? YOU Smile.”

The tense exchange was captured on camera and quickly went viral on social media, leading to a wave of mixed reactions from fans.
One fan commented, “Why is she crashing out?” and others accused her of being “way too rude”.
However, majority of fans came to her defence, applauding the Emmy nominee for standing up for herself and calling out the comment.
“Ohhhhh diva she is taking it!! I love this era of hers,” one posted, with another mentioned, “LMAOOO not a fan but i love when women pop off”.
“Respect for you, Mille,” one posted. Another shared, “She’s unhinged and I love it,” one mentioned.
“I love how celebrities are starting to finally talk back,” another added.
Some also drew comparisons to Chappel Roan and said, “Somebody’s been talking to Chappell,” referring to the singer`s admonishments to the media.
“She’s got that mommy anger!!” another quipped, since Brown and her husband, Jake Bongiovi, recently adopted a baby girl.
Millie Bobby Brown`s harassment case against David Harbour
Earlier reports had emerged that Brown accused David Harbour, who plays Jim Hopper, of “bullying and harassing” her in 2024. According to reports, the allegations are serious but do not involve sexual misconduct.
A Radar Online source reportedly revealed, “Millie Bobby Brown filed a harassment and bullying claim before they started shooting the last season. There were pages and pages of accusations. The investigation went on for months.”
However, the Stranger Things premiere was filled with joy and celebration as the cast and crew gathered for one last time. Millie Bobby Brown was seen arriving on the red carpet with David Harbour, who has played her on-screen father for the past four seasons. On the red carpet, Millie told reporters that she shares a “really special bond” with David, leaving fans confused and wondering whether the case was a publicity stunt.
Stranger Things Season 5, Volume 1 premieres on November 26 at 8 p.m. ET on Netflix, followed by Volume 2 on December 25, and the finale on December 31.
