Amitabh Bachchan recently shared the most awaited trailer for Mohanlal’s directorial debut film ‘Barroz’ via his Twitter handle.
Sharing the trailer, Big B wrote, “T 5199 – The Virtual 3D trailer of #Barroz3D is out NOW! Releasing in theatres worldwide on December 25.”

Mohanlal re-tweeted the post and penned a note saying that Amitabh’s support is truly humbling and shared his gratitude for sharing the trailer. Mohanlal’s Tweet read, “Sir, your support is truly humbling. To have you bless Barroz with your encouragement is the highest honor. My heartfelt thanks for this gesture.”
Mohanlal and Amitabh Bachchan earlier teamed up for the war drama film ‘Kandahar’ which was directed by Major Ravi. Big B played an extended cameo role in this 2010 film which unfortunately received mediocre reviews from the audiences.
Coming back to ‘Barroz’, the trailer was unveiled on the last day by Mohanlal via his social media handles. Starring and directed by Mohanlal, ‘Barroz’ is a fantasy adventure film which has the story penned by the ‘My Dear Kuttichathan’ fame Jijo Punnoose. The expectations are quite high for Mohanlal’s first directorial venture.
Meanwhile, the trailer promises a complete entertainment package that will be more suited for the child audiences. The cinematography is done by Santosh Sivan and the rich frames along with the 3D release, ensure that the movie will be a magnificent theatrical experience for the audiences.
On the other hand, Mohanlal and Mammootty are teaming up for an upcoming multi-starrer film which is directed by Mahesh Narayanan. The movie also features the actors Kunchacko Boban, Fahadh Faasil, Nayanthara, Renji Panicker, Darshana Rajendran and many others in pivotal roles.
