In the T20 World Cup 2026 match against Zimbabwe, the West Indies emerged victorious by 107 runs at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai.

Having put to chase a target of 255 runs, Zimbabwe was bowled out for 147 runs in 17.4 overs. Opening the innings, Tadiwanashe Marumani scored 14 runs in eight balls, including two boundaries and a maximum. Fellow opening batsman Brian Bennett scored five runs in five balls, including a boundary.

Dion Myers accumulated 28 runs in 15 balls, with the help of three boundaries and two maximums. Ryan Burl was dismissed on a three-ball duck. Skipper Sikandar Raza scored 27 runs in 20 balls, including two boundaries and the same number of maximums. Tony Munyonga also scored 14 runs in 16 balls, including a maximum. Tashinga Musekiwa also departed on a one-ball duck.

Facing 21 balls, Brad Evans amassed 43 runs, laced with two boundaries and five maximums. Graeme Cremer and Blessing Muzarabani were dismissed for six and five-ball ducks, respectively.

Richard Ngarava stayed unbeaten on seven runs in six balls, including a maximum.

West Indies` Gudakesh Motie returned with the figures of four wickets for 28 runs in four overs. Akeal Hosein also bagged three wickets by conceding 28 runs in four overs. Matthew Forde claimed two wickets for 27 runs in 3.4 overs. Jason Holder also chipped in with one wicket. Shamar Joseph went wicketless in the T20 World Cup 2026 match against Zimbabwe.

Earlier, having put to bat first, West Indies` opening batsman Brandon King scored nine runs in 12 balls, including a maximum. Skipper Shai Hope scored 14 runs in 12 balls, with the help of two boundaries.

Shimron Hetmyer delivered a glorious knock of 85 runs off just 34 deliveries. His explosive knock included seven boundaries and the same number of maximums.

Later, Rovman Powell delivered a knock of 59 runs, which came in 35 balls, with the help of four boundaries and the same number of maximums. Romario Shepherd garnered 21 runs in just 10 balls, including three maximums. Jason Holder departed after scoring 13 runs in four balls, including two maximums. Sherfane Rutherford also scored an unbeaten 31 runs in 13 balls, with the help of three boundaries and two maximums. Matthew Forde also stayed unbeaten on one run in one ball. With this, the West Indies posted a total of 254 runs for the loss of six wickets in 20 overs.

Zimbabwe`s Richard Ngarava and Blessing Muzarabani returned with two wickets each. Brad Evans and Graeme Cremer also chipped in with one wicket each. Skipper Sikandar Raza and Dion Myers went wicketless in the T20 World Cup 2026 match against the West Indies.
