Namibia have been consistent in their recent ICC appearances, and this is their fourth consecutive World Cup appearance following a competitive Africa qualification tournament. Chasing the target of 148, Pakistan reached 148/7 in 19.3 overs and had to rely on the brilliance of Faheem Ashraf (29*). Meanwhile, the Dutch scored 147 runs in 29.5 overs in the first innings. Speaking before the game against Namibia, Netherlands all-rounder Saqib Zulfikar said, “I think it’s great because as an associate nation, you always have to work a little harder with a little less money. So it’s great to come up against the best teams in the world and really, you see where we are competing, and we could have won more matches than we have already won in this tournament.”
