New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi Visited on Saturday Manipur For the first time after 2023, when the ethnic violence broke out, there was unrest in the state.The journey of his three-day visit to five states included two public rallies, negotiations with local people and inauguration of thousands of crores of development projects.Heavy rains disrupted the original program, grounded their helicopter and forced them to travel by road to Charachandpur, where they were welcomed by cheering the crowd despite a decline. Travel begins in Mizoram with historical railway opening

Before reaching Manipur, PM Modi Started his day in Mizoram, where he inaugurated the Berabi-Sirang railway line of Rs 8,070-crores.   • An IT Sage Building and Mantripukhri at New Police Headquarters
  • Manipur Bhavana and Kolkata in Delhi
  • IMA market in four districts, celebrating the unique women-managed market of the state

He said that projects were part of a major effort to accelerate the development of Manipur. “Before 2014, Manipur’s growth rate was less than one percent. Now, Manipur is growing several times faster than before. A new era of infrastructure development has begun. The pace of construction of roads and national highways in Manipur has also increased several times. Work is also being done at a fast pace to reach every village here.,

Call for peace between ongoing unrest

PM Modi’s visit lifted a strong political weight, as this was his first when ethnic clashes between Metei and Cookie communities wandered in May 2023. Foundation stones were kept for projects worth Rs 7,300 crore in Churachandpur

With his peace message, PM Modi laid the foundation for development projects worth more than Rs 7,300 crore in Charachandpur. These include:

  • Manipur Urban Rhodes, Drainage and Asset Management Improvement Project (Rs 3,600 crore)
  • Five national highway projects over Rs 2,500 crore
  • Manipur Infotech Development (Mind) Project
  • Women working hostels at nine places

During the incident, the locals presented him with traditional zomi and Thadu cookie shawl. A young girl also gifted him a picture, who welcomes warmly despite the state’s distressed background.

Regional Outreach: Message to Nepal from Manipur stage

In an unusual border-limit context, PM Modi also addressed Nepal speaking in Imphal. He said:“Today, with this land of Manipur, I will also talk to my colleagues in Nepal.
