Radha Yadav confident of dominating England after six-wicket win

Following the win in the fourth T20I match against England women`s cricket team, Indian spinner Radha Yadav expressed confidence in her team saying that they are going to dominate no matter what.

In the fourth T20I match against England women, the Indian women`s cricket team registered a victory by six wickets at the Old Trafford Cricket Ground.

“The belief and the dedication this time is really different,” Radha said after the victory in Manchester.

Radha Yadav bagged two wickets by conceding 15 runs in four overs. With this, she was also named the `Player of the Match` award.

India has also clinched the series by leading 3-1. The Indian women`s team had previously enjoyed little success against England in the shortest format of the game. India defeated England in the first-ever T20I contest between the two sides in 2006, but hadn`t won a T20I series against them until the victory at Old Trafford was achieved.

The spinner is also confident about her team achieving some special feat, but also said there are a few things which need to be worked upon.

“This time this team, this atmosphere, it`s magical, this is, and we are actually onto something, we want to create something big going forward as well, and this is the path we want to go down. There are still a lot of things we have to correct, we have that in our mind, but…this is a different team and we are going to dominate no matter what,” said the 25-year-old.

England could only muster 126/7 with the bat against India at Old Trafford, with the side badly missing the experience of injured skipper Nat Sciver-Brunt and former captain Heather Knight during the middle overs, after they elected to bat first after winning the toss.

Later, India chased down the target in 17 overs for the loss of four wickets, with Smriti Mandhana and Shafali Verma smashing 32 and 31 runs, respectively. They were supported by Jemimah Rodrigues, who delivered an unbeaten knock of 24 runs, followed by skipper Harmanpreet Kaur`s 26-run knock.

The fifth and final T20I match of the series between the two sides will be held in Birmingham on Saturday, July 12.
