NEW DELHI: Rajasthan batter Mahipal Lomror has caught the eyes of cricket fanatics with his explosive triple century in their Ranji Trophy match against Uttarakhand.
At the time of writing the report, Lomror was batting at an impressive 300 not out with the strike rate of around 83. His knock has taken Rajasthan’s total closer to 700 runs.
His innings showcased a commanding range of shots, a mix of precision and aggression that served as a clear reminder of his capability ahead of the 2025 IPL mega auction.
With his boundary-studded innings, including 25 4s and 13 6s, Lomror seems to be sending a signal to franchises looking for a dependable middle-order powerhouse who can also bowl.

Lomror’s performance couldn’t have come at a better time, as IPL franchises gear up to reconfigure their rosters for the upcoming season.
The IPL 2025 mega auction, slated for November 24 and 25 in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, marks the second time the auction will be held outside India.
The high-profile event provides teams with a fresh slate to build well-rounded squads, and players like Lomror, with strong domestic performances, are making their cases to be key components of a franchise’s lineup.
With IPL scouts and analysts watching, Lomror’s innings could boost his auction value significantly.
Known for his consistency and ability to stabilize innings, the 24-year-old left-hander, who had a stint with Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) last season, has shown a level of maturity and resilience that can be invaluable in high-stakes T20 scenarios.
Additionally, his all-rounder abilities make him a valuable asset, especially for teams looking for a dynamic player who can fill both batting and part-time spin-bowling roles.
