Zubine DrGoldie Dr – These were some names by which Zubeen Garg was known. Assam musicians, who recently died after an incident in Singapore, recorded over 40,000 songs and became a voice for each mood. Their sudden change in the Octave – from high to mid -mid – there were a mark of their music gifts.

When his album Maya Was released, track Maya Mathu Maya A love anthem for a generation became. The Bihu festival felt incomplete without one of its tracks. As a singer, he defined language restrictions, which easily move in styles and tongues.

My memories with zubine Dr there are so many. When I first learned to play the guitar, the first song I played was that MayabiniWhich was released in 2001. I studied in B. Boruh, the same college like him, and after playing Mayabini I secretly wish that I can perform with him one day. This wish was 11 years later, in 2011, when I got the first chance to share a platform with him in Nagon. By then, I had performed with artists like Anupam, Zubale and Srimanta, but was different that night.

After the show, we have dinner together Dhaba In Nelli. On that simple food, zubine Dr Praiseed my guitar playing and told me that I played Zanti diya Track exceptionally well. Then he said, “You have to play with me for Bihu. So keep clinging with us.” This was October 2011. I stayed ahead, and performed with him for the next four years.

They were unforgettable years. Zubine Dr Like brother -in -law, we were encouraging and affectionate to treat all of us in the team. He was light-hearted, Jovieal, always jokes. Even he had a strange habit of holding the hand of a member of a band and cracking his knuckles – like a child in many ways. In Assamese, there is a word ‘free and frank’ to describe someone who never reveals words. He was a zubine DrIn both his speech and his thoughts.

But as a musician, it was not easy to please them. He will play you until you bring out your best. I remember working rock Album at Kharguli Studio. One night, after a long day, I went home to sleep. At 3 o’clock, my phone rang. His name shone on the screen. When I picked up, he just said, “Come to the studio. Let’s record a song.” I went back with my guitar, and we played till 7 am. Another night, he called me for a recording at 10 pm, but when I arrived, he was watching a motor-racing film. We all stopped, finished the film, and then slept on the studio floor. This reminded me of childhood holidays when the cousin used to sleep shoulder to shoulder at our grandparents’ house. This was the atmosphere he created – work, music, and comrades all rolled into one.

What I praised the most was his perspective on life. He always said that he likes to spend time with common people. He will happily sit to chat with someone at a botanical seller, a rickshaw puller, or on the roadside tea stall. He treated everyone equally and often talked about love and equality to the youth.

My music trip is defined by a single, powerful effect: Zubeen Garg. As a composer, I can confidently say that I will not stay where I am without him. His music was not just the soundtrack of my childhood, it was a very foundation for my artistic education.

My early memories of singing are tied to his songs. I will sit for hours like a track Anamika And MayaHis voice is trying to catch emotion and depth. Through his tunes, I learned the importance of rhythm, strength of a song, and putting my soul in every note.

But his influence was far ahead of music. Zubine Dr Connected compassion, compassion and generosity. He reminded us to give us anything in return without expecting. His songs often celebrate nature, love and unity, which makes us feel a part of the biggest thing than ourselves. For me, he was a soul that was more a purpose than making music. He not only inspired me to become a better artist, but also a better person.

The values he lived and expressed through music – love, kindness, compassion – are values I try to incarnate in my life and art. His legacy is not only contained in the songs he sang, but also among the artists who inspired him and touched his life. He taught me that more than music performance – this is a connection, a bridge for people’s hearts.

I am a composer because of Zubeen Garg, and I will always be grateful to my gifts.

The journey of Girish and The Chronicles has been closely connected to Assam since our early days, and we are suffering to see how deeply this loss has affected the people there. I know what brother Zubeen means. He was more than just a musician – he was his voice, his dreams and more. Those who came together to mourn him, their sheer number is a will for the love and respect he inspired. Answer -For us in the east, it seems that we have lost a brother.

I am thankful that we had a chance to share the stage with them on more than one occasions. Even though we never interacted at the individual level, but it was always clear that she was a real and ground soul.

Zubin is a feeling for everyone. He was a versatile, multi-style composer-he wrote, composed and sung. I was born when Zubeen DrFirst album of Maya Was released, although I was introduced much later with his music. still, Maya Still seemed relevant.

One of the most important aspects of his music is his voice – it is unique, almost as he is singing directly for you. Putravat, he brought a change in sound and system to Assamese music, changed the taste of people so that both young and old are associated with their songs.

I met him many times. My first meeting was in 2002, when his album Infant (Child) was launched. I was the child chosen to release the album. Later, in 2005, he launched my first album Ritam’s lightI have also recorded in his studio.

His tunes and compositions are unmatched, and even his first album feels relevant. His body of work spreads various styles and languages. Even within Assamese music, he discovered a wide range – from – Borgite, BihuAnd Lochejet To love songs, with songs that touch peace, unity, children and folk traditions.

He could do something as universal as love through many styles, which was unique in itself.

Zubine Dr There has been a continuity in my life, because it has been for every Assamese. His music touched me from that time that he released his album OnmikaAnd I became a lifetime fan. Even I got a chance to perform with my sister Preshisha around 2000-2001 on stage. Out of school, we were proud and ecstasy.

When he moved to Mumbai, we were practically neighbors in Sher-e-Punjab (Andheri East) since 2005. We participated, we made music, we lived like a family. Zubine Dr There were bizarre thoughts when they came for food – once they cooked egg curry with cabbage and were very proud of it. At another party, he suddenly said, “Oi Gorisha, EE Gande Gai Dibby Ah” (O Gorisha, Aao and sing this song) – and this is how his famous song Kheri Melute happened.

Whenever I was in Assam and he was performing, I made it a point to live there. I was for some of those who had easy access to him and his wife, dignity B. AIn his show, he often called me on stage and we used to sing What do you want Together.

Whoever knows the zubine Dr There will be a treasure of memories – I have districts.
