Farman Haider said, “Republic Day holds a very special meaning for me because it reminds us of the courage, sacrifices, and vision that went into shaping our nation. It’s a day to pause and reflect on the values of justice, equality and truth that our Constitution stands for. As citizens, we enjoy many freedoms, but it’s equally important to remember the responsibilities that come with them.

He added, “I truly believe that real patriotism is reflected in our everyday actions, how we treat one another, how we stand up against injustice, and how we contribute positively to society. On this Republic Day, I hope we all strive to become more aware, compassionate, and responsible Indians.”

Farman on his role in Jagadhatri

In Jagadhatri, Farman plays the powerful role of IPS Shivaay Deshmukh, an undercover agent who serves the nation. This marks a significant shift for the actor, who usually appears in softer, romantic storylines.

“As an artist, you are always looking for layers – you want a chance to be versatile,” Farman said. “I’m blessed and really grateful that I got this opportunity to explore something more intense and action-driven.”

For Farman, Jagadhatri is more than just a new show – it’s a chance to evolve. The blend of action, layered characters, and emotional storylines offers him an opportunity to push boundaries. “I always try to add more realism than drama,” he explained, excited for viewers to witness the transformation on screen.

Speaking about his character, Farman revealed that his calm and grounded personality in real life helps him relate to the emotional depth of the show’s male lead. “I’m very simple and sober,” he said, describing his personal nature. “So I can connect really well with a boy who is very lovable, who is very humble, emotional, who believes in relationships, who values people’s emotions. I’m that kind of person who really loves people, animals, you know. So, I can really connect well with Shivaay.
