UPSC coaching institutes have offered to provide free classes to students enrolled at Rau’s IAS, the centre where the incident occurred.
The tragic deaths of three IAS aspirants in Old Delhi have shocked the nation. Students have been protesting for days at Rajinder Nagar, demanding justice for the UPSC aspirants who lost their lives when a coaching centre’s basement flooded due to heavy rainfall in the national capital.
Amid students’ protests and the ongoing investigation, several UPSC coaching centres have stepped in to offer support in response to the tragedy.
Coaching institutes have announced financial assistance for the families of the deceased and have offered to provide free coaching to students enrolled at Rau’s IAS Study Circle, the centre where the incident occurred.
Vajiram & Ravi
Coaching centre ‘Vajiram & Ravi’ has announced the financial assistance of Rs 10 Lakh to families of each of the three IAS aspirants and has volunteered to admit the students who are currently enrolled with Rau’s IAS Study Circle, free of cost
“As a sign of solidarity with the families of the departed souls, Vajiram & Ravi comes forward to make a financial contribution of Rs. 10 Lakh to each of the three IAS aspirants who lost their lives recently,” Vajieam & Ravi stated.
SriRam IAS Coaching Centre
SriRam IAS has also announced financial assistance of Rs10 lakh to each of the three victims of Rau’s IAS coaching mishap. It has also announced financial aid of Rs 10lLkah to the family of Nilesh Rai, who died from electrocution in Delhi’s Laxmi Nagar.
The coaching centre has also offered the students of Rau’s IAS Study Circle to use its classrooms and libraries.
“As a gesture of support, we would like to offer financial assistance of Rs 10 lakh to the four families, hoping this may provide some relief and support in these trying times,” SriRam IAS stated.
Next IAS
UPSC coaching centre Next IAS has offered to provide Rs 10 lakh each to the families of three students. It has also offered to provide classes for the remaining syllabus of the students enrolled at Rau’ IAS for the current session.

Standing by our commitment towards the student community, the NEXT IAS family (Management and Faculties) has decided to provide ₹10 lakhs each to the next of kin of the bereaved families of the three students (Shreya Yadav, Tanya Soni and Nevin Dalwin) who lost their lives in this tragic incident,” Next IAS said in a statement.
