Saanvi Deshwal of hosts Otters Club delighted the spectators by setting two new marks — 100m breast stroke and 200m individual medley — on the final day of the Otters Club’s 38th Otters Open Swimming Gala at their pool in Bandra recently.

Deshwal won the girls U-15 breast stroke clocking 1:13.82 secs to better the previous mark of 1:16.75 secs. She then won the 200m individual medley in 2:19.20 secs, bettering the previous best timing of 2:24.31 secs.
Two more record were broken as DSC’s Aryan Bhosale won the men’s 100m back stroke, clocking 57.64 secs, and MGMO’s Ashwin Jaiswar won the 200m individual medley with a timing of 2:09.00 secs.
