In the IPL 2026 match against Mumbai Indians (MI), Delhi Capitals (DC) emerged victorious by six wickets at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi. The hosts successfully scored 164 runs by losing four wickets in 18.1 overs.

In an attempt to chase a target of 163 runs, DC`s KL Rahul was dismissed on one run in three balls. Fellow opening batsman Pathum Nissanka played a knock of 44 runs in 30 balls, including six boundaries and a maximum.

Nitish Rana also departed on a three-ball duck. Impact Player, Sameer Rizvi, played a glorious knock of 90 runs off just 51 deliveries, which was laced with seven boundaries and the same number of maximums.

David Miller and Tristan Stubbs stayed unbeaten. Having faced 18 balls, Miller accumulated 21 runs, with the help of four boundaries, whereas Stubbs scored three runs in four balls.

MI`s Deepak Chahar, Mitchell Santner, and Corbin Bosch claimed one wicket each.

Earlier in the first essay of the match, the “Paltan” posted a total of 162 runs for the loss of six wickets in 20 overs.

Wicketkeeper-batsman Ryan Rickelton scored nine runs in 11 balls, including two boundaries. Fellow opening batsman Rohit Sharma garnered 35 runs in 26 balls, with the help of five boundaries and a maximum.

Tilak Varma was dismissed on a two-ball duck. Sherfane Rutherford also returned to the pavilion after scoring five runs in seven balls, including a boundary.

Later, stand-in skipper Suryakumar Yadav played a stunning knock of 51 runs off 36 deliveries, which was laced with three boundaries and two maximums. Facing 21 balls, Naman Dhir accumulated 28 runs, including two boundaries and a maximum. Mitchell Santner also scored an unbeaten 18 runs in 13 balls, including two boundaries. Along with him, Corbin Bosch stayed unbeaten on 11 runs in four balls, with the help of two boundaries. With this, the “Paltan” posted a total of 162 runs for the loss of six wickets in 20 overs.

DC`s Mukesh Kumar returned with the figures of two wickets for 26 runs in three overs. Lungi Ngidi, skipper Axar Patel, Vipraj Nigam, and T. Natarajan also chipped in with one wicket each. Star spinner Kuldeep Yadav went wicketless in the IPL 2026 match against MI.
