Following the box office success of ‘Dhurandhar’ and its OTT debut this weekend, the clock is now ticking down to the release of ‘Dhurandhar 2’. The team was spotted in Mumbai this weekend, filming portions of the upcoming sequel titled, ‘Dhurandhar 2 The Revenge’.
Sanjay Dutt and Arjun Rampal spotted on set
Fans spotted actors Sanjay Dutt and Arjun Rampal, in full costume, reprising their roles as SP Chaudhary and Major Iqbal as they hit the sets to shoot a terrace-top scene. The two stars were spotted atop a building surrounded by black flags. They were reportedly seen shooting in the Ballard Estate area of South Mumbai. The first images from the sets that were shared online, soon went viral as it transformed the Mumbai neighbourhood into Lyari, Pakistan, sparking excitement and intrigue about the shoot. If the viral images are any indication, SP Chaudhary and Major Iqbal may finally come face to face, but to see how this confrontation plays out, fans will have to wait until March 19.
Dhurandhar 2 is still rolling barely a month before release. Maybe they’re adding patchwork scenes.
Not much could be gathered, but an entire gully in Ballard Estate has been transformed into Lyari.

‘Dhurandhar 2’ gears up for March release
Considering that the film is just six weeks away from its release, the set pics have only added to the buzz. Unconfirmed reports state that the team is currently shooting some patchwork scenes for ‘Dhurandhar 2’. Interestingly, these set photos come amid buzz that the makers have already obtained certification for the teaser release. According to reports, the makers have three different teasers certified by the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC), including one rated U/A, while another has been given an A rating.
Ranveer Singh to return in ‘Dhurandhar 2’
The espionage thriller, headlined by Ranveer Singh, was originally set to be a single feature film. However, closer to the release, the makers decided to split the film into two parts are release the second film after three months. While much about the film has been kept under wraps, the sequel is said to pick up after the events of the first part and see their characters explored further.
