Now, one of the cast members, Deven Bhojani, has explained the rationale for this act.
On Sunday, Deven took to Instagram to share a video of the Sarabhai vs Sarabhai team singing the show`s theme song on Satish`s pyre, revealing the cause for the heartfelt farewell to the actor. He wrote, “May look mad, dark, weird, whatever, but we always sing this when together & today was not an exception. Felt as if INDU himself insisted and joined us. RIP Satish Shah ji, I am blessed to have directed you in #SarabhaiVsSarabhai. You’ll live forever in our hearts.”
Fans also showed support for the Sarabhai vs Sarabhai cast. Love you a lot.” The actor also uploaded a post stating that Satish`s prayer meeting will take place on Monday, October 27th, from 5.30 pm to 7.30 pm. The statement stated, “We meet to commemorate the life and creative energy of a man whose life has touched hearts, inspired many minds, and brought beauty to the film industry. “Shradhanjali Kriya at Jalaram Hall in Juhu.”
Satish Shah`s sad demise
Satish Shah, a veteran actor recognised for his exquisite comic timing and unforgettable performances in both film and television, died at the age of 74 from kidney failure. The actor collapsed while having lunch at his Mumbai home, according to his manager. He was taken to Hinduja Hospital but was unable to be revived. Several celebrities, including Amitabh Bachchan, Salman Khan, Farah Khan, and Karan Johar, took to social media to mourn the actor`s demise.
