Anup Jalota, Shankar Mahadevan, and Hariharan say 'NO' to Nora Fatehi and Tamannaah Bhatia’s performance at their concert

Renowned singers Anup Jalota, Shankar Mahadevan, and Hariharan are set to headline ‘Triveni: Three Master Performers’, a series of musical concerts scheduled to take place in Ahmedabad, Delhi, and Indore this December. The musicians have now reportedly rejected actors Nora Fatehi and Tamannaah Bhatia from the event’s lineup.
However, a recent proposal by the event organizer, Manish Harishankar, sparked discussions. He suggested including Bollywood actors Nora Fatehi and Tamannaah Bhatia as guest performers in the lineup. The trio of singers reportedly rejected the idea, emphasising their vision for the event. The concerts, organized by MH Films, aim to showcase the richness of Indian music through their extraordinary talents.
According to Hindustan Times, when Manish proposed adding Nora Fatehi and Tamannaah as guest performers, Shankar, Hariharan, and Anup firmly opposed the idea. They believe the essence of ‘Triveni’ lies in its focus on Indian music’s artistry and depth. Including Bollywood stars would shift attention away from this core purpose.

The singers further suggested that if guest performers were to be included, they should be fellow musicians who align with the spirit of the concert. “Their aim is to keep the spotlight on the music and ensure the artistic integrity of the event,” added the source.

Addressing the discussions, Manish Harishankar confirmed that he had reached out to Nora Fatehi and Tamannaah Bhatia’s managers to inquire about their availability and performance costs.
Meanwhile, Tamannaah Bhatia was recently seen in ‘Sikandar Ka Muqaddar’, a heist thriller streaming on Netflix since November 29. The film, directed by Neeraj Pandey, also stars Avinash Tiwary, Jimmy Shergill, Divya Dutta, and Zoya Afroz in key roles.
Nora Fatehi recently appeared in Kunal Kemmu’s comedy film ‘Madgaon Express’. She also made her Telugu debut in ‘Matka’, alongside Varun Tej and Meenakshi Chaudhary.
