
In the IPL 2026 match against Gujarat Titans (GT), Rajasthan Royals (RR) posted a total of 97 runs for the loss of one wicket in 10 overs.
Having opted to bat first, RR`s openers Yashasvi Jaiswal and Vaibhav Sooryavanshi gave the team a good start. Sooryavanshi returned to the pavilion after scoring 31 runs in 18 balls, including five boundaries and a six.
Jaiswal and wicketkeeper-batsman Dhruv Jurel are unbeaten at the crease. Facing 30 balls, Jaiswal has scored 47 runs with the help of four boundaries and three maximums, while Jurel accumulated 11 runs, including a boundary, off 12 deliveries.
GT`s stand-in skipper Rashid Khan has managed to pick up wicket by leaking 17 runs in two overs while Mohammed Siraj, Kagiso Rabada, Ashok Sharma, and Prasidh Krishna continue the hunt for their first wicket.
Earlier, RR skipper Riyan Parag won the toss and elected to bat at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.
GT`s regular captain, Shubman Gill, has missed out on the clash due to muscle spasm.
Rajasthan has made two changes, with Donovan Ferreira coming in place of Ravi Bishnoi and Tushar Deshpande replacing Brijesh Sharma.
