In a recent interview, Sunny shared insights into Salman’s enduring bond with both him and his father, revealing that their connection dates back to before they began their acting careers.

Talking to Pinkvilla, Sunny revisited past memories by sharing stories behind old photos. One such image showed him and Salman Khan performing the iconic ‘Dabangg’ step on the sets of the Tv show. Reflecting on the photo, Sunny revealed it was during ‘Bigg Boss’. At that time, they had him do some of Salman’s signature moves, and Salman did a few of his. It was a blast; they were trying to imitate each other.
A Bond Beyond Acting
Deol talked about his relationship with Salman, noting that they have a strong bond that has been in place for years, even before they began their acting careers. This bond is undeniable and filled with a lot of love.
Family Ties
He also mentioned that Salman is very close to his father, Dharmendra. Salman often refers to himself as “Papa’s son,” indicating a deep affection for the family. He bonds well with all of them, including Bobby, Sunny, and Dharmendra, showcasing a strong familial connection.
Future Collaborations
In the same interview, Sunny expressed his wish to reunite with Shah Rukh Khan. Talking about a potential two-hero film, he mentioned that he had only worked with Shah Rukh once before, in the 1993 film ‘Darr’, and suggested they could collaborate again. He noted that it would be nice to work together now, as both the industry and times have changed significantly since their last collaboration.
