NEW DELHI: Ahead of the crucial third T20I against South Africa in Centurion, all-rounder Hardik Pandya offered heartfelt words of encouragement to debutant Ramandeep Singh, saying, “You thoroughly deserve this.”
Pandya congratulated Ramandeep, who came in for pacer Avesh Khan, on his debut, acknowledging the hard work and dedication that led to this moment. His words reflect the camaraderie within the team, as Pandya instills confidence in the young cricketer before his debut.
“This is overwhelming: #TeamIndia T20I debutant Ramandeep Singh,” BCCI captioned the video posted on social media platform X.

“Raman I know this is a very special moment for you and your family and your loved ones. It has taken a lot of hard work for you to come here. You thoroughly deserve this. Enjoy the day. Cherish this moment. We all are with you and these moments don’t come by too often,” said Hardik to Ramandeep while handing over the India cap.

The four-match series is now level at 1-1 as South Africa skipper Aiden Markram won the toss and opted to bowl against India in the third T20I on Wednesday.
