Kartik Aaryan and Ananya Panday’s Christmas release Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri (TMMTMTTM) is all set to hit the big screen on December 25. Advance bookings for the romantic comedy are currently underway and the film is expected to register a decent opening on its first day.
A pricing rarity for TMMTMTTM
A Mumbai theatre has made an unusual move with ticket pricing for the film. Typically, theatre seating is divided into sections where seats closer to the screen are cheaper, and prices increase for seats farther away. However, at PVR Oberoi Mall in Goregaon, the front-row seats have been priced higher than the middle rows.
For the 8:00 am and 10:45 am shows on December 25, the first three rows under the Classic category are priced at Rs 370, while Prime Class tickets are available for Rs 290. For the 1:50 pm show, Classic seats are priced at Rs 430, whereas Prime Class tickets cost Rs 350. For the 4:55 pm, 8:00 pm, and 11:05 pm shows, Classic seats are priced at Rs 540, while Prime seats cost Rs 460.
CBFC suggested changes for TMMTMTTM
According to a report in Bollywood Hungama, Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri has been granted a U/A 16+ certificate. The Examining Committee of the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) suggested three changes. The makers were asked to reduce a sexually suggestive scene in the first half of the film, resulting in a 15-second cut.
Additionally, the CBFC instructed the makers to mute and remove obscene words from the dialogue and subtitles. Lastly, abbreviations of obscene expressions in a scene from the second half were also asked to be removed. As per the censor certificate, the film’s runtime is 145.41 minutes.
