Only a month after Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon 2’s (2025) release, entrepreneur and actor Parul Gulati is gearing up for her next, Tu Yaa Main. In the survival thriller that sees Adarsh Gourav and Shanaya Kapoor as popular content creators, Gulati plays Laira, the latter’s manager. “Laira is Shanaya’s friend and manager, someone who stands by her fiercely, questions her, and supports her. What excites me is that she is not just a side character but an emotional anchor in the story,” says the actor.

Director Bejoy Nambiar’s thriller, presented by Aanand L Rai, revolves around the two social media stars whose plan to create an adventurous video turns into a bid for survival. For Gulati, the gritty premise and the chance to be part of Rai’s on-screen world were the big draws. “Aanand L Rai’s world is so theatrical and emotionally rich. I keep pinching myself because this feels like one of those once-in-a-lifetime opportunities to be part of a larger-than-life film that also has so much heart.”
