Washington D.C:Donald Trump has won the US Presidential election, marking his return to the White House after his defeat to Joe Biden four years ago. The 78-year-old’s victory has garnered reactions from various sectors, including the sports world.
Boxers Mike Tyson and Jake Paul, both vocal supporters of Trump, were among those who might be celebrating the result. Tyson endorsed Trump earlier this year, while Paul, though ineligible to vote due to his residency in Puerto Rico, expressed support for Trump’s policies.
After the result, he posted on X, “The truth and god won in America. This is a massive step in the right direction to heal the major issues going on in the world currently. America is saved.

I hope some can see that the truth won in this election. Voting for “bad orange guy” is an emotional decision and not the truth. I see some of my democratic friends are freaked out. It’s not your fault… Try to use more discernment in media and start by telling the truth to yourself first and then the world will become more clear to you.

“I’m supporting the president that’s going to be the most pro-life president,” Kansas City Chiefs kicker Harrison Butker said last month, indicating his alignment with Trump’s stance on abortion.
“The topic is the most crucial topic for me. I want us to be fighting for the most vulnerable, fighting for the unborn, and that’s what we should prioritise.
“I think you have to vote for whoever is gonna be the most pro-life and we have to be prayerful men that put God first. I think that’s what’s going to be best for our country,” he said.
Former NFL quarterback Brett Favre, another prominent Trump supporter, spoke at one of Trump’s final campaign rallies: “In all the elections I’ve seen over my lifetime, I’ve never seen one where there was so much hate,” Favre commented. “It’s certainly sad to see.”
Retired race car driver Danica Patrick, a first-time voter in this election, also endorsed Trump. “I think that Trump did a really good job of letting us know that there is such a thing as fake news,” Patrick stated. “The person that runs this country should ultimately be running it very much like a business. I can’t really think of a better businessman than Donald Trump.”
Patrick also felt Trump’s first stint in the White House would stand him in good stead.
Former NFL players Antonio Brown and Le’Veon Bell attended a Republican rally in Pennsylvania last month in support of Trump.
